This class is for students who have a regular movement practice of some kind and are interested in developing greater comfort, awareness, and specificity in their practice and in their daily lives. Specific movement sequences to foster fluidity and efficiency in movement are framed by excercises that help you apply your learning to your daily life.

This class is geared for people who are newer to Feldenkrais or are interested in a particularly gentle class. Whether you have pains, injury or tension you would like to find relief from, or would like to connect with the ease and joy in movement you know is possible, you'll develop the skills you need to do both in this restorative, intriguing class.

The Feldenkrais® Method is an amazing way for dancers to gain greater clarity, ease, and expressivity in movement. Specific movement sequences provide a chance to recognize personal movement habits that may be interfering with your potential. Learn to reduce tension and unnecessary effort as well as discover new ways of coordinating your movement for greater comfort, fluidity, and power. When the class is over, you will feel great in body and mind and have tools you can use to make a positive change at any time
This 3 class series focuses on the power and possibilities for movement in your hip joints, pelvis, and spine. They may be taken individually, but are cumulative and recommended as a series.

Feldenkrais for Singers
In this Feldenkrais workshop you can expect to learn enjoyable movement lessons you can do yourself to:
• Improve posture, breathing, articulating
• Recognize and reduce muscular tensions
• Use your body's natural design to create a fuller, richer sound
• Reduce self-criticism and increase enjoyment
This workshop meets every other month. If the group builds, the workshops will become more cumulative, allowing us to address specific concerns more fully.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or blanket to move on.

Feldenkrais is one of the nine movement disciplines that inform the phenomenon of Nia. Come get aquainted with this fascinating, form while exploring intriguing movement sequences that expand your ability to feel and sense with more accuracy "the body's way" for using your hips knees, and ankles. You'll explore how movement patterns you may not be aware of can strain these joints, find cues that help you move with more ease and flow, and apply your new awareness to movements such as Bow Stance, Sink and Pivot Table Wipe, and Spinal Roll. At the same time you'll get a wonderful chance to experience how deepening and honing your ability to feel your body can enhance your joy and pleasure in movement.
